We had a wonderful couple of days at Keepers Watch. The hut is in its own private bubble, presented beautifully and with gorgeous views. Maria was a lovely host and the location was perfect for visits to the coast and Exmoor. Thank you for our stay, Bryony & Henry x
What an amazing break away! Our first time glamping, and the most wonderful place to have stayed. The Keepers Watch was such a wonderful little place to get away from it all. What you see from the outside is beautiful, and what’s inside is truly amazing, it’s got everything! Maria was such a lovely host, so helpful, and couldn’t do enough for you.I would highly recommend Rye Park House, and if I have to sell the cat to raise the money to go back, then I will in a heart beat! 😁🐱x
From the first time we saw the pictures of Keepers Watch online, we knew we had to visit and it certainly did not disappoint! The hut is super cute and well equipped and has amazing views. Maria is a great attentive host and we loved seeing all the animals walking around! We felt really relaxed and seriously considered never leaving 😀
We were gifted a few nights stay at Keepers Watch and we couldn't have asked for anything better!Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. The cabin interior is like a magazine editorial, everything is pretty, but also practical with everything that you'll need.Open the doors and windows to let in the light, and sounds of bird song and the babbling brook. The nature outside makes for a beautiful view and is good for mini adventures.Hosts are friendly and helpful whilst allowing you all of the privacy you'll want, their animals are also friendly and charming! We've already told friends to book in for their holidays.
We stayed in this wonderful Shepard's Hut for a few (much needed) days. The hut and views were exceptional, it was all the privacy and peace and quiet we needed. Maria and her husband were great hosts and very friendly. We loved how the hut was self catered as we didn't need to pack loads, the landscape and land is so peaceful and quiet, as well as being breathtaking. Hopefully next time we will remember to bring our wellies to walk across the stream! will be returning for sure! (Hopefully when I am less pregnant!) 🙂 Overall our experience has been one of the best for glamping and great value for money you won't regret booking! 🙂
Me and my partner stayed here in November 2017 for a long weekend for my birthday. It is such a beautiful, beautiful place. Maria was so polite and helpful. The place is so peaceful, such a beautiful place to relax. We had no service on our phones which was the best as we are a young couple and always on phones! So this was perfect. I am just about to book for this year! Can’t wait to go back. Thank you
The Shepherds hut is truly exceptional. Maria and Steve went above and beyond to ensure the weekend we spent there was amazing. There is nothing they have not thought of. Their attention to detail is second to none. The only negative is that we had to leave. We will most definitely be back. Thank you!
Absolutely flawless accommodation and set in a tranquil and natural backdrop created the perfect getaway for us both. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t stop us going for a walk through the woods and by the river, it’s a truly stunning place and we will be back, thanks Maria!
Absolutely stunning, the keepers watch was fresh, clean, modern and very well equipped. We wanted and got quite tranquility and a beautiful place to relax. A few glasses of wine sat around the fire pit was so lovely whilst listening to the owl. With the freedom to roam the woods and stream and short drive to the beautiful coast line our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Maria we will be back, thank you for your hospitality.
What a fantastic find! Peace and quiet in a lovely private shepherds hut. An ancient woodland to gaze out on and explore and the sound of owls to accompany a glass of wine around the fire pit. We even saw fireflys in a nearby tree! The accommodation had all the comforts of home only in a more compact space. Everything was perfect. Plus there are some beautiful places to visit nearby including beaches, pretty villages, the town of Barnstable which has a bakery with gluten free bread and cakes, a market etc and a quirky Sculpture Park. I could go on... but as you can tell we had a fab stay and highly recommend Keepers Watch.
